Society Bakery opened its doors in 2003 in Dallas, Texas. Society was propelled into national recognition when Ellen DeGeneres named them one of the Top Ten Cupcakes in America. Since then, People magazine listed Society as one of the “four top bakeries in L.A., Dallas, Birmingham, and N.Y.C.” Shecky’s listed Society Bakery as one of “10 Bakeries You Need to Try Across the U.S.” The Daily Meal listed Society Bakery in the “Top 50 Cupcakes in America.” Society Bakery has been seen on Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Bon Appétit magazine.

Society Bakery & Tea Room has grown into not only a destination for special occasion cakes, every day pick me up baked goods, and delectable morning pastries - but also into a tearoom and restaurant. Our Afternoon Tea is something truly special and to be savored. Our vision is to be a neighborhood spot - ready to help people celebrate their most special moments - and also to just take a break from the hustle and bustle of the day.
